Access to information, open governance and prevention of corruption for the benefit of National Guard executives

Tunis, March 29 - 30, 2021: As part of their cooperation program, DCAF and the Ministry of the Interior (Central Unit  of Governance) organized a training workshop on access to information, open governance and the prevention of corruption for the benefit of senior officials of the National Guard at the Bir Bouregba School.

The workshop introduced to participants the legal and institutional framework for preventing corruption as well as the framework governing access to information and open data. It also made it possible to sensitize the audience on the importance of the control and project management functions, including their impact on the governance and performance of the services provided by the National Garde

The workshop was also an opportunity to discuss possible areas of intervention where integrity is threatened and to propose solutions.

This workshop is part of the participatory approach maintained by the Ministry of the Interior as part of the development of its 2nd good governance and corruption prevention program 2022 - 2025
