DCAF and the Embassy of Switzerland organized a two-days workshop on fight against corruption

Tunis, September 18 - 19: DCAF, in partnership with the Embassy of Switzerland in Tunisia organised a workshop, which aimed at promoting the exchange of expertise in the field of fight against corruption for the benefit of the Ministry of Interior. Two police officers from the Swiss Federal Police conducted this workshop for fifteen high-ranked members of the National Police and the National Guard.

 

The sessions, which have taken place at the Police National Academy of Salammbô - Carthage, included an overview of the current anti-corruption legislation and the exchange of best practices of means and procedures implemented for the conduct of internal and external investigations.

 

Fruitful discussions held during this two-day seminar also encouraged the participants to carry out an in-depth analysis of the national threats and challenges in this field, for which technical cooperation with international partners remains crucial. 

 

This workshop is the first bilateral activity jointly held by the Embassy of Switzerland in Tunisia and DCAF in 2019.
