DCAF organized a two-day training of trainers as part of the project

Tunis, 5-6 December 2017: As part of the project “active youth for security” DCAF and the Alternative Network of Youth (RAJ) jointly organized a two-day training of trainers based on interactive exercises for members of the RAJ on security sector reform and governance in Tunisia.

Subsequently, RAJ’s trainers will train young volunteers tasked with conducting quantitative surveys on youth's perceptions and security needs in six pilot municipalities in Tunisia.

The support provided by DCAF to the RAJ is part of its strategic objectives to build the capacity of civil society organisations to influence change in the security sector.

The project “active youth for security” is funded by DCAF's North Africa Trust Fund (TFNA). The fund's funding comes from Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland. More information on DCAF is available on the DCAF website or on the DCAF website in Tunisia.
